Keepit Dam Upgrade |

While Keepit Dam is safe for day-to-day operation, State Water is upgrading the dam to meet modern day safety requirements for large to extreme flood and earthquake events. |
|
After extensive investigations and consultation, State Water narrowed the alternative approaches for upgrading the dam down to three. These three options have been assessed for their environmental impacts during construction and operation through an Environmental Assessment, which is now on public exhibition. |
|
It is important to know how the community feels about the final three options and how they affect people differently. |
